Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Dimple Yadav has expressed strong confidence that her party will secure victories in the upcoming by-elections across Uttar Pradesh. During a recent press conference, she pointed out that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had previously claimed they would win all 80 Lok Sabha seats in the state but fell short of that goal. “The people of Uttar Pradesh are looking for genuine leadership, and the SP is ready to deliver,” she asserted.
In her critique of the current government, Yadav stated that BJP's attempts to divert public attention through sensational statements will not resonate with the electorate. “The youth of today seek jobs, while women demand safety and security. Farmers are struggling for affordable fertilizers and electricity. These are the real issues that matter,” she explained, emphasizing that such concerns will drive voters’ decisions in the upcoming elections.
Yadav also addressed the deteriorating state of healthcare and education in Uttar Pradesh, claiming that the BJP government is disconnected from the ground realities. “Health services are in shambles, and our education system is failing to meet basic standards. This will significantly impact how people vote,” she noted. Her remarks suggest that voters are increasingly aware of the gap between the government's promises and the actual conditions they face daily.
When questioned about the SP's strategy, particularly regarding the decision not to field Tej Pratap Yadav for the Karhal seat, she explained that party decisions are made based on a comprehensive assessment of the current political landscape. “Timing and circumstances dictate our strategy. We are committed to maximizing our votes and ensuring victory in every constituency,” she stated, reflecting a united front within the party.
